New Moon in Taurus: Values, Self-Worth & Speaking Your Truth

Have you seen the Venus-Moon conjunction in the West skies after Sunset and even now at midnight as I write this post? They’re in watery cardinal Cancer – and met up at the Heart Chakra Gate MAY 18, 2026 at 7:50 pm MT at 00 CANCER 02′ – cardinal signs like to initiate change and being at 00 degrees, we’re also Fated/Destined to bring in something NEW around how we nurture ourselves, reclaim a healthier version of Self-Love and nurturance this coming month! Interesting timing, with this New Moon in Taurus!

The New Moon occurred Saturday MAY 16, 2026 at 2:01 PM MT at 25 Taurus 58′ with Mercury nearby reminding is to be mindful how we go this Moon cycle – around values, worthiness, self-esteem, self-confidence, our money, and choosing the value of the combo of skills and talents we each have in our unique toolbox of Life Experiences to use somehow these next weeks, in a hands-on creative way!

With all the Aries GREAT RESET energies we’ve been dealing with since FEB 20th (Saturn conjunct Neptune at 00 ARIES for the first time in over 6100 years!) of instinctual actions that seem to take us in directions we’ve not had the courage to take before now – it’s good to take our TIME now (Taurus) to BE in the moment, to dwell HERE for a bit, versus go go going at a moment’s notice!

This New Moon brings us some erratic / unexpectedness through Uranus and Sedna both sitting at 01 GEMINI – mind games that reach for unique pieces of info, ideas, knowledge that help us seek a more Victor-oriented stance vs. victim! Both these planets trine Pluto Rx/retrograde in Aquarius gaining Future guidance and long-term memory release into the Now-verse – assisting us with deep transformative guidance as we release long-suppressed energies and memories that perhaps block our uniqueness from coming out, authentically.

Jupiter’s been in watery cardinal Cancer for nearly a year – he’ll move off into fixed fiery LEO at the end of June – meanwhile, how expansive have you become regarding Self-nurturance? Taking care of the family is one thing – how about your SELF?!

I not only dove into changing my Business Name (!) I also attracted the right business partner who helped me envision a New Website to go with it! The day we closed the doors on the old website, I had an extraordinary Medical Astrology Reading that totally explained the WHY of my current physical and emotional health situation – I won’t be looking at that Grand Fixed Square formation in my birth chart the same ever again!

Situations that occurred in my life 13+ years ago (previous timing of Jupiter in Cancer) whereby Duty and Family came rushing into my life, pulling me away from Nanaimo to return to Calgary and all things family…interesting to now realize (from that Reading) how Saturn and the North Lunar Node transiting through my 3rd House of Communication / Siblings (where my natal planets of Jupiter Rx + North Lunar Node + Neptune Rx all within the first 4 degrees of SCORPIO reside) back on AUG 1, 2013 triggered a 13+ years worth of Stress that I’m now about to Transform, again through Saturn, but now through the lens of cardinal fiery ARIES in my 8th House of Self-Transformation! Tis time, said the Medical Astrologer, for ME to take care of ME now. My Duty / Karma with my family obligations is now behind me. It’s TIME to HEAL my physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of myself, finally.

And folks wonder WHY I’ve been studying Astrology for 26 years! LOL! It’s mysteries and cyclic timings continue to amaze me! It’s MAGICAL and ON TIME and brings conscious awareness of the WHY of my NOW – always, in All Ways. Don’t you agree?

Being an Astrologer doesn’t mean I have all the answers at my own fingertips for ME and my life! I too must seek out others who can SEE ME and my world through their expertise that only they can bring to the table!

This OOB Moon joined Jupiter as of 7:27 AM MT WED, MAY 20th expanding on and making LOUDER how we’re feeling / Intuiting / seeing MORE of than every before of what we truly NEED for nurturance. I needed a day to myself – just BEING – to explore more of the notes I took post-Medical Astrology Reading – and I’ll sleep on all the ideas and information gained from that Reading to create my PLAN of SELF Transformation, going forward!
